Some more excellent presentations today! Please don't forget to get your math tests signed. Remember, if you forgot it at school, a note from your parents stating they are aware of your grade will do. Also, the permission forms for Gesstwood are due tomorrow. Lastly, the homework for both grades in math was to complete the "What you need to know" section. This would be the first 5 questions of Unit 2.

Great presentations today! As you pick your next topic, make sure you envision a new medium (e.g. Prezi, Powtoon) and ask a member of the class to show you around during the Genius Hour.

 Good luck on tomorrow's Math Test! Be sure to finish part 2 of your Math Review and prepare your questions, so we can get started right away.

Great work on your paragraphs today! If you haven't shared them with me yet, please ensure that you do so. Let your parents know that our first unit Math test will take place on Tuesday September 29. We will spend the next couple of school days preparing for it in class. All immunization forms are due tomorrow, whether you are getting shots or not. Also, we are still collecting registration for the Gesstwood Ropes Course (until Thurs Oct 1) and popcorn (until October 9).

Great work today everyone! Some people have begun to share their work to the classroom in Bitstrips and Powtoon. Also some have shared to my email at donalddiubaldo@mytools2go.ca. Either way is fine. Remember this week we have all reading responses due so refer to the chart in class for your specific hand in date.

Homework- In Math, both grades have the mid-unit assessment to complete. Also Mme. Bond wanted me to remind you to complete your French title pages. Have a great weekend!

Please have your 2 binders (with dividers) ready by the end of next week (Friday Sep 25) to avoid losing important work and information. A.M. binder should be divided into Math, Health and Religion/ Fully Alive. P.M. binder should be broken into Reading, Writing, Geography, History and Science.

A great start to week two. I hope that some of you will take some time to explore Powtoon and Bitstrips a little further tonight. It would be nice if all the avatars were complete. Tonight's homework is Math: Grade Eight- P.6-8 # 1-8 and Grade Seven- p. 6-9 # 1-9.

A Great First Week

Very impressive collaboration today among the groups. There were some amazing observations made that I did not even see. A special thank you to Payton for explaining the triangle question to me.
