Hello everyone, I'm going to keep the blog going just a little longer to ensure everyone transitions to the new platform. Those students who were in class today transferred over and the notes to get the parents in were distributed for your convenience tonight.
Homework:
1) 2 binders + dividers
2) Get parents onto Class Dojo
3) The Meadowlands reading selection Google Classroom
The rest of the week will be very hot.

Welcome to Grade 4!
Thank you for a great first day. Make sure that you and your parents check into this blog often for updates and important information.
There is no homework tonight but I would like you to work toward a couple of goals.
First, make sure you have your materials (listed below) for Friday September 6.
A 2 inch binder for the A.M. and a 2 inch binder for the P.M, plus dividers.
2 reading books are to be kept here at all times. As you get close to finishing one, bring in another so that there are always 2.
Second, have a rough copy of the T.V, movie or game review completed for Thursday September 5. This assignment is available in the Google Classroom but I'll post it here as well.
Pick a TV show, movie or video game. Make sure that you chose an example that you feel strongly about (you either love it or hate it). In one paragraph (7-10 sentences) give the audience a short summary of the story (2-3 sentences), specific examples of what is good or bad about the show, movie or game (3-4 sentences) and why you would recommend it to a person your age ( 2-3 sentences).
