Last night's Geography assignment was immensely exaggerated. The instructions read, "...answer a seven-ten paragraph". This was taken to mean, "...answer a seven-ten paragraph essay". It was intended to read, "answer a seven-ten sentence paragraph". We'll take this as a lesson in proper editing. My apologies.
Math Test 3 will take place on Monday November 6 in the morning. We will spend the next few days prepping for it. Topics will include:
Census/ Sample
Mean, Median, Mode, Outliers
Histograms- (used when data are continuous, frequency, intervals, frequency tables)
Circle graphs- used when data are part of a whole e.g. percents
Line Graphs- used when changes in data are shown over time
Bar Graphs- for discrete values, when data can be counted separately
Please feel free to see me for help if any of these items are unclear.
